 Abstract:  Samuel Williamson (1772-1834) was a judge of the Ohio Court of Common Pleas. His son, Samuel Jr. (1808-1884), was an Ohio state legislator. His grandson, Samuel E. (1844-1903), was also a Common Pleas Court Judge. Another grandson, James D. (1849-1935), was a minister. His great-grandsons, Frederick E. (1876-1944) and Arthur P. (1884-1973), were businessmen. The collection consists of the papers of the Williamson family, including business papers, deeds, a journal of James D. Williamson's trip to Europe (1914), newspaper clippings, court documents, genealogical material, memorial books, and letters of the Day-Ely family.

The collection consists of correspondence, diaries, mementos, unpublished short stories and poetry, and other materials relating to the World War I experiences and artistic career of Paul Travis, and to the genealogy of Marjorie Penfield Travis. Includes diaries and correspondence of her grandparents, William L. and Lucy E. Wood.

 Abstract:  The Bole Family traces their ancestry to Robert Bole (1818-1891) and Euphemia Bole (Kirkpatrick, birth and death dates unknown). They had five children: Joseph Kirkpatrick (1848-1894), John Clark, Mary (Mame), Allen, and Robert. The donors of the collection are descendants of Joseph Kirkpatrick Bole and Melinda Eliza Bole (Patterson, 1850-1918). Joseph and Melinda had seven children. The majority of the material is related to their second son, Joseph "Joe" Kirkpatrick Bole (1876-1952), and his wife's, Winifred Ely Bole (Ely, 1881-1976), line of descendants. Joe Bole attended Cornell University and was an avid golfer and fisherman. The collection consists of genealogical material such as family trees, family group records, and research notes, correspondence, diplomas, and certificates.
